Did a lot of research on these cameras and others, very happy with the cameras and it was easy set up highly recommend this product

Great system for the price...

Installing the system was quite simple if you are used to running wires, maybe crawling through crawl spaces and drilling holes through foundations. It must be installed sheltered under an overhang as it is not waterproof. Concealing the wires can be a challenge at times. Don't expect to be able to read license plate numbers on cars but you will be able to describe easily what kind of car drove by your residence or business should that be required. I am pleased with the system and do recommend it for overall quality and pricing.

Happy with Defender

I purchased the Defender in late November. Received the device 12/3/17. Installation of DVR and cameras was moderate to easy if electrical power is available. Programming the DVR was easy. Had some difficulty activating the phone app and the e-mail alert but the support staff, at Defender, did a great job walking me through the setup and helping me understand some of the nuances of the system on . A special thanks to Daniela of the support staff for her help via "Live Chat". She understood my problem, was very patient and seemed very knowledgeable on how to help me with my system issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was with reserve when it came to purchasing the Defender HD 1080P 8Ch with 4 Dome cameras because the price was so low. I am extremely happy that I did. The picture quality is beyond compare to anything less. I have a wider view of my property and a clear image that won't leave you second-guessing your decision. And the installation couldn't be any simpler. Plus, the Defender App on my phone gives me peace of mind while I'm away from the house.

My wife and I just bought the system for our home. The installment of the system was very easily done and the mounting of cameras are very simply done. One suggestion we have is to have better written directions. Cameras are very clear and view on our television is wonderful!!
