easy to set up and quality cameras

Bought this a few weeks ago and just set it up and it was easy. Pictures are crisp and clear even at night.

Just what I needed !!

Set up was fairly easy (beside the attic running cable) the picture quality is great. I needed to adjust the color to get the clearer picture on a couple cameras. The night vision is very clear. I have 4 cameras set up outside and I'm finding that for higher and longer distant the resolution needs to be set down for a clearer view. Other con they don't Zoom in or out. The software could use some help, like on the record schedule if you hit continuous it should be green and if you hit motion it should go yellow... but those buttons only let you highlight the colors not set the colors so you have to do them a square at a time or drag it a cross a week at a time. The other thing I found out today is you can't delete video a day at a time it's all or nothing (FIX THAT) you have to back up to a flash to delete certain days. You should be able to pick and choose what you want to delete. So all in all great cameras for security.

I upgraded from a previous Defender system. I've had nothing but a positive experience in the past from Defender I found no reason to go anywhere else.
I received this product with free shipping promptly after placing my order. Aside from having to upgrade my wiring for the new Bullet HD Cameras the setup was a snap. I was able with little or no difficulty accessing my cameras at the DVR, on my Computer or on my Phone. I did have one problem and this put their support system to the test. I was not able to get video on my Tablet. I was getting a live feed to the tablet but no video from the cameras. I contacted support via chat. I communicated with Suzanne and Brian. When it became difficult to solve the issue by Chat, Brian called me. I sent him a screen shot of the issue and he got back to me immediately the following morning. He recommended a procedure which did the trick. Customer support is outstanding. I am quickly able to view my cameras 24/7 anywhere. It is simply amazing. Thank you Defender for attention to the customer, product quality and cost.

Previously had a Defender System and now upgraded to the HD System. Whitney, the Defender Representative was of great assistance, answering all my questions on this new system. The bullet cameras visibility are of much better quality in the night time. I will definitely recommend this system.

Love this system

I just got these installed last weekend and I absolutely love them. They were very easy to install and the picture is amazing on my TV as well as my phone. When the high quality stream option is used I can see the smallest of details on my bonsai trees in my greenhouse. Truly awesome.
I did have some issues getting the app to work on my Iphone 6. I used the live chat and I cannot remember the agents name but he was great. It turned out I had downloaded the wrong app and once I got the right app the setup was a breeze and I was watching my house on my phone.

Defender HD 1080p with 8 Camaras

Just finished installing my system and it works great!!! Very easy to install and the night vision is good and the DVR is simple to understand. The Defender app for the phone and PC connection only took a couple of minutes to download and worked very well. Overall I think this is a Very GOOD system. This system covers my whole property and I am thinking about adding the other four Cameras that this DVR can hold. Thank you Defender for the ease of installation on this system.
