WE HAVE USED OTHER SECURITY SYSTEMS FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THIS SYSTEM HAS ALL THE FEATURES WE NEED AND HAS GOOD QUALITY VIDEOS. SINCE WE ALREADY HAD OLDER CAMERAS INSTALLED AND ALL THE CABLES IN PLACE IT WAS EASY TO ADD TWO OF THE NEW "DEFENDER" CAMERAS AND HOOKUP THE CABLES TO THE NEW DVR. ONE VERY IMPORTANT FEATURE IS THE "DEFENDER" DVR IS VERY QUIET. ALSO AN IMPORTANT FEATURE FOR US IS THE ABILITY TO VIEW ALL 8 CAMERA VIDEOS DURING PLAYBACK.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far I'm very happy with the system. Installation wasn't hard at all. First night it was running I caught a guy riding a motorcycle through my yard !

I bought the Defender system this summer to replace a Guardzilla wireless system that was useless.
The Defender hardwired system is the way to go.

I bought this product and installed it by my self and it was easy to install and configure it.All parts came organized and everything you need is in the box. for the price I paid,I think it is a great product!

got my system 8/2017 and it has give me no problems at all,runs 24/7 wish i had got an 8 chnl.dvr so i could add more cameras later.

Super easy conversion

We've had an SD Defender system for several years and the HDD drive just died on it. I contacted Defender regarding just swapping out the DVR portion, and they were very helpful in answering all my questions. I went ahead and ordered a whole new system, and the DVR swap was super easy. I love the new mobile and internet viewing features, as well as the simple set up for motion capture, etc. Will eventually swap out our old SD cameras with the new HD ones, since they will still work on our existing lines. Much easier than having to redo everything at one time.
