Easy set up. Manual could be better but easy to figure out. Mobile app could be better. So far so good for the price

Very Pleased Wth My Defender Home Security System

I just received my 1tb, DVR Defender 8ch, 4 Bullet Camera System. This was easy to set up. I own 2 Android Devices myself , and Alls I needed to do was D.L. Firefox App to my Tablet, open up and go to defender and continue from there. It took me a moment to figure out on the tablet to view your camera feeds you need to click on the dvr symbol in the top left corner " (after its all connected to the dvr thru Internet " The drop-down menu will list Cameras by number "I have an 8ch , 4 Camera dvr system setup)" so camera #1, camera #2, canrrs#3, etc...just tap on the dvr icon in top left corner, the cameras will list velow, tap on say camera #1 and drag over to an empty view space on the right in any order you choose.. I just went in order from top left to top right to bottom left to bottom right Cameta#1 - Camera #4. Simple enough. I just didn't notice an area that covered that. The camera quality is A#1 . The reason I got the 8ch dvr is now I can add on if I choose, and I belive I will be purchasing a Dome camera with Intercom , If possible for above my front entrance and perhaps just a Dome Camera for back Entrance/Exit. The Price was really decent, I know how fast things can change. Upgrades come and go how and things become Obsolete over time.. Hoping to get some years out of these, and if all goes gd..? I will in time biu, Upgrade myself. All in all these are great quality cameras, 1080p is nothing to laugh at. It may not be 4k, but an 8ch, 4 Camera, 1tb dvr with 130' of night Vision. And 100' in total darkness "( No Ambient light )". Plus four 60' , F4 fire rated Cords , a mouse for the dvr, a remote for the dvr, also includes hdmi cord and enternet cord and more. So truely it's all that you need to set up your home security system. I just bought a 25' CAT-6 "Black Web" Flat Network Cable as I need a longer cord to run from my router/modem to my dvr . Besides that I am gd to go... So Far.. So gd. **Thank You Defender. **

So far so good, instillation was easy but was difficult for me because I have 10 wires in a 3/4" conduit pipe and snaking those wires was very difficult I actually cut 2 wires in the process I was very frustrated, other than that everything else went fine. The app is great, looking at the live feed is good except there was a few seconds delayed and when looking at the image when there is motion the image is just blank so far with all the motion I haven't seen any images im not to happy about that but other than that great camera package, great company. I told my family and freinds an they all placed and purchase order, I think i'm intitled for a referal fee lol.

I am surprised by the quality of these for the price, very happy I made the purchase, as it serves my needs, so far I only have 3 of them hooked up, but they look good, and I can access them on my home tv (through hdmi cable) and on my android phone.

I bought this a couple of months ago for home security. plan routes for cables before you start install, once cables were ran setup was a breeze, cameras work great, night vision is above average, overall a great system.
I would recommend this to a friend!
