Good quality / Easy to setup.

Purchased this 8 camera package 3 months ago and finally crawled around in attic to string wires, much easier than i thought, don't delay like i did. I followed the DVR connection SETUP page and found it very easy to connect all cables, cameras, dvr to my flat screen as well as any other accessories. Daytime footage clarity is amazing and pitch black footage appears like black and white .....clear enough to identify any criminal.
A problem neighbour is now my best friend ....i wonder who was doing all the vandalism ....go figure.
Thx defender ....now my wife and i feel confident that our propery will be safe or we will catch the perpentrator ..... excuse my spelling.

Couldn't be simpler to set up.

This is my third Defender-USA system since having a home security system installed.
The reason is simple. They are a great company with great products. After installing the cameras, it only took minutes to get the camera to show up in my android device. My spouse commented on how incredible the new HD video was. I am only using 2 dome cameras and 2 outside cameras. I am keeping the remaining 4 cameras as spares. At least until I get around to running 4 more cables somewhere.
Great system at a great price.

Had this system for a few days now. The install was very easy other than some wiring issues through a particular wall, which of course was a house issue. Cameras are very clear and sharp. excellent night viewing around house perimeter. Have a clear plan for installation and things will definitely be much more hassle free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We were referred by a friend. Installation was easy, set up was easy. Great picture quality, covers a wide range; our entire back yard, side yard including neighbors and front yard.

Great system, great price

We bought this system based mostly on independent reviews from other websites. Most were very good reviews so we decided to purchase and we are not disappointed. The system is really good, installation was very easy, running the cables through my attic was a chore (just because it's really hot up there, we live in Florida). I read some reviews where people had difficulty getting the smart phone app to work but it worked perfect for me, don't understand why others couldn't do it. For the price, I think it would be difficult to find a better system. We are quite happy!

replacement system

This system was purchase to upgrade a previous Defender security camera system. The replacement was easy and the setup and configuration was simple. However, we are still working on trying to get the system to be view-able from a computer system on the same network but works great over the internet to a smart phone. we also have encountered a problem with two of the cameras not showing correctly through IR but currently working with Defender on the problem.

I just installed this system today and think it's a good system for the money. I've never owned a system before so don't have a basis for comparison. Seems high quality, easy to install with some online resources and the quality seems good.

I bought the 4 camera system. Was fairly straight forward to setup. came with 4 60ft cables. Unfortunately 2 of the cables were not long enough for my home so I purchased 2 longer ones at the same time. I wish I would have know I couldn't use the longer ones straight to the camera, you are forced to use the 60 foot cables then attach the longer cables to that. Now I am left with a huge amount of cable unused! Overall great picture quality and easy interface.
