Excellent System!

You are buying both hardware and software. Fortunately both are very good quality. The software is fantastic with little learning curve. Without repeating what others have said I'd make two suggestions. Give good thought to the locations of your cameras. Most would position them and test it in daylight. The night vision is excellent however be careful not to mount to close to anything reflective such as a white gutter downspout. The reflection didn't show up in the day but it canceled out the image completely at night. I had to relocate the camera. The same effect will happen at night if a spider decides to web your lense. You won't see the web in the daylight but at night it will blur out the infra red so be sure the cameras are accessible for you to clean them now and then. Regarding the software, take the time to learn it. It's easy! The system is useless if you don't capture the right image or if later you can't find it. Learn how to adjust the motion sensitivity etc so you aren't recording everything other than what you need so after the install work with your software. Overall I am very pleased!

I done a lot of research online before I purchased a system. So glad I did and found Defender! They have been awesome from the first time I contacted them. My father in law and I both bought the same system. They got here fast!! I hooked them up and checked the system out! Talk about easy!! Super plug and play! I then started placing cameras. Quality video! Thank you Defender!

Great video and easy setup[

Installed third of June. Very easy to playback, zoom feature is great. Color and visibility also great. After shopping around I thought this would be the best system and after installing found that to be true. This is an upgrade from another vender and there is no comparison.

Setup was a snap. Took a little time to learn my way around the recording and playback menu's and how they worked. Will leave the remote viewing to a later date as I am not all that tech savy on apps and Iphones. A great system for what I wanted.
