Remote doesn't work great but system works great

I reviewed this last night and gave it a poor rating due to the usage while using the remote control. I walked through problem with customer service and they told me to use the mouse and not use the remote for what I was doing and issue was resolved. I wish they had a phone number listed on website for customer support but they did call back the following morning and easily fixed the problem.
Picture quality is good for money. I'm glad I made the purchase and would do it again. It gives me and my family piece of mind when we check the cameras for visitors and noises in the night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent system and easy to use!

I'll have to say that this is my first surveillance system and I'm very very happy with it! The installation was very easy and I was up and running in a day after I received the unit.
I purchased the defender 4 channel 1080p HD unit to cover all the entrances and windows to my house and garage. The clarity of the cams are crisp and clear and function perfectly, the night vision reception is good too. One of my favorite features of this system is that my wife and I have iphones and pairing both phones and a ipad was a very simple step to do and now we can keep a eye on things when we are gone away.
I was very pleased with "Candice" in customer service in answering all my questions which helped me make the decision on purchasing from this company.

setup was painless and quick. the online documentation is lacking. the android app poor. the cameras and dvr are of good quality and deliver a descent picture. the software on the unit is very good, the web app is poor, the android app not so good. overall this could be a great unit if the documentation and apps were improved upon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great system

I bought this system a few weeks ago. The hardest part was running the cables. Set up of the system was easy and simple. One cables were run it took 30 minutes to set everything up. As far as instillation everything is included with the system you will need to install it. I did not have to buy any special tools to install the cameras. I have used them now for 3 days and the picture quality is excellent. Especially when you turn it to high quality. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and the price point. Lastly, product was at my house in 3 days. After arrival I was emailed a thank you email and a link for helpful useful tips for installing. I chatted with customer service 2 times and great service. All I need now is a camera that I can move and rotate with the app. I have not called to see if they have this camera but it would be wonderful. Best camera system at this price point.

My first surveillance system

Hello,
This is my first surveillance system ever. It was so easy to install it, even without reading the manuals. The quality of the recordings are excellent. So far, no complaints at all, especially because Candace made my purchase even easier.

1080P 8 Ch with 4 dome and 4 bullet cameras

I just bought this unit, and setup one camera to test, unit was easy to setup, quality is good inside for both lights on and lights off. Easy to connect to inside the house from my computer.
There are 2 things I would add for the all the cameras would be a speaker and Mic. That way when I have one setup at the front door I can talk to the person at the door. And for remote view I would add more apps, like Windows 10 mobile and Xbox App as this is what I use for my media center and has , even PS4 app would also be good., I don't own any apple or android products.
