I purchased this at the beginning of October and I was a little unsure of the quality of the product and the difficulty of the install.I was amazed at the ease of installation and setup,once it was all hooked up and running I was happy with the quality of the picture.The camera housing is plastic and that remains o be seen how they will hold up but overall I am very happy with the product

Very Good Cameras

I am happily surprised by the wide viewing angle and distance range of the cameras. They also have good quality viewing and also at night the view is good. The set up is easy. The set up with the smart phone app isn't too bad. There is no operating manual included. You have to download the pdf online and save it and or print it out. I'm very happy with the system.

Great product for the price

I had my 1080 4 channel system for a year when it went dead after a lightning storm; no surge protection; I ordered another system from Defender (Donna); it turns out the power adaptor that comes with the system, took the beating, not the DVR, so now I'm back up and running with a spare DVR and 2 spare cameras. Only comment on picture quality is, night viewing is greatly enhanced when you add adequate lighting; the infrared isn't quite enough to get identifiable video.

I purchased this a little over a month ago and so far good, the only thing I had wrong was I had to buy two of the 120ft cables because the 60 foot cables that came with it were to short, I would recommend to anyone.

Had a earlier version with 4 cameras. Worked great. Now had this version. It too works great. Good picture quality.

Problem handled quickly

Bought the wired unit and was able to add wireless cameras just like Donna explains. The unit didn’t work right out of the box the power supply was faulty but using chat now identified the problem and is working correctly. Not savey enough to know the correct settings when viewing recording but they seem fuzzy. The actual montering the channels are clear that’s why I think it’s a setting
