I bought this to replace another brand (Swann) that went out after 3.5 years. This was easy to set up ad the picture quality is much better.

i bought this for my home and am very happy with it. records while i'm away and with the mobile app i am able to look and see if anything is happening at home.i feel so much better knowing that if anything should happen while i am away it will be caught on camera. in today's world you never know what will happen.

Good value for your dollar

This is my second Defender system. I upgraded because my old system didn't have all the new technology features offered these days such as viewing remotely with a phone app. I have been running the new system for a couple of months now and have had no issues. Setup was easy and everything worked out of the box as expected. I am happy so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Setup

I bought this system 2 weeks ago. It was easy to set up with all items color coded. The daytime views are very clear. The total darkness night views aren't as great as I had hoped but if images are taken when outdoor lights have been triggered, the image capture is overall good. I like the various recording and viewing features though a small portable viewing device would have been great as an add-on option. Multiple settings allow users to tweak the system for their individual needs. Although available for purchase, I wish the default camera cables had been longer than 60 feet - like 100 foot as default. A true owner's manual would have been great instead of the minimal info one that had to be downloaded. Overall, I am satisfied but the above suggestions would have made it a complete 5 star review.

I installed this cameras about two months ago. They have feature such as shading out the area you don’t want the camera to record, etc.
