Good but....

Setup was easy and works very good when viewing from a monitor.But, just like most systems out there the mobile apps for remote viewing are flawed. Don't receive alerts at all with andriod and with ios receive alerts but the images are blank.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loving it so far

I’ve had the security cameras up for a week now and am thouroughly happy. I had an issue with one of the camera bnc wires not working, but I worked with it and it started working. I contacted support via the web chat and was talking with someone in under a minute. And Darrielle was very helpful. Video is clear day and night. Running wired is always a pain, but so far love the defender hd1tb4b4 system. Thanks Darrielle for you help and repeat emails to check on how it was working. There could be more YouTube videos for app set up and instructions.

I made the purchase of this article and install a couple of weeks ago and so far I am well satisfied with the results. Easy installation and especially to setup the online access was easy and efficient

Good system

I bought the Defender HD 1080P 8-cams to replace my 720p 4 camera wireless system. This system is of very high quality, and 1080p is definitely the way to go, vs. 720p. The biggest pain for me was finding how to route the wiring. That problem comes along with any system, hard-wired or wireless. In my view it's better to go wired, for picture quality alone. This defender system delivers as far as high quality video goes. Setup was very easy, as all off the cables have tags to where everything needs plugged in at. The actual setup of this unit was no problem, I simply made sure I had the monitor, mouse, and all cables hooked up before booting up the system, then following the on-screen prompts was easy, and it was good to go. The setup for the iPhone app was a breeze to set up also. I have no problem giving this system a five-star rating.

I bought this in December, installed it a week later and I'm very pleased with the quality of these camera's. Once you get them where you want them, there's nothing you wont miss. The wideness of the view was very impressive.

Got my set up Dec. 2017. Good wireless set up if cameras was close,No picture from camera 125 foot away,but I think is due to metal roofed house and no windows close to wireless modem. Added 50 foot of cable [ used 240 cable ] with SMA connectors and ran it outside of house,used one of the antennas off the modem to end of cable,connected the cable to the modem and now I have great pictures off of all cameras. Night vision is great. Easy set up once you read the online manual. Cable was bought from MPD Digital.com.
