good product, need easier install

Good product, waiting for additional cable to install a;; cameras . I think they should have a variety of cable lengths for average install is not evenly spaced 60' from central control. Also would be nice to have room inside mounting housing to secure and hide cable connections to camera.

I started out with the 8 Cam 800TVL In May 2017 and quickly upgraded to The 1080P 16 Cam syastem. The 800TVL was great but will now be used around the property and the new 1080P will be for the house inside and out. Great easy syatem to connect only takes minutes to connect to the app once cameras are connected and up and running to the main unit. The real time is running the wires to the locations. Very easy to go back and look at footage from the app can also copy pictures and video right to your phone from the video footage. Great system and the price for a 1080P is great. I own two Deffenders systems now total 24 cameras LOVE them.

I bought this product about 10 days ago, installed it 2 days ago.
So far i'm happy with it the image quality is great,
night vision range is impressive.
Set up was simple enough.
The only reason I didnt give it a excellent overall rating is pc support is lacking or not at all, it seems defender has placed there focus on smartphone & tablet support..
I would recommend this to a friend!

They removed the sound option from the App

I purchased this system because it had the audio option with the purchase of an aftermarket mic. I have had the system for 6 months and have had problems with the app syncing with my cameras often. I recently got an email from them stating they would no longer support web browsers!!! who wants to use their phone to review footage? Now they have removed the sound function for the app. I paid a professional to come out and install mic's with my system so i could hear remotely and now that feature is no longer supported. Now i have to go purchase a different brand of camera system. Horrible company
