We purchased this combination in February and it is great. It was easy to install and the software is very user friendly. I would highliy recommend this product. The picture quality is so good, even in nighttime vision. If I move, I will be purchasing another set as I am in love with them. The only drawback is I wish they were wireless but otherwise great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Customer Service!

Setup of the hardware was easy enough, after my husband did the camera wiring, but the app on my iPhone kept crashing. I chatted with Suzanne at customer support and she emailed me complete directions for fixing it. The admin password for the DVR that I had created was too long; it can only be 6 characters. Once I changed the password, I was able to log in to my Defender account and proceed with PC and mobile app setup. We are pleased with the system, the quality of the cameras for both day and night viewing, and Defender's customer service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up

I have had two other DVRs and this was by far the easiest to set up and be able to access on my lap top or iphone. Great clarity on the cameras!

I got the Defender HD DVR to replace my existing Defender DVR. Very easy to install and set up to the settings I wanted. The phone amp was a plus to have.

Great features & great quality

This is the second Defender unit that I have purchased and have in service. The quality is great. The set up on my mobile devices were quick and easy! I am still trying to get the One-Step feature to work. I looked at the reviews of other competitors but still preferred the Defender brand. Candace was very helpful with providing additional information that I requested!! I would definitely recommend the Defender to my family and others looking for a superb system!
