i bought this system about 3 weeks ago, after buying a competitor's that did not work out of the box, since has been returned. i am only using 2 cameras for now. installation was very simple, great quality picture in daytime, night is pretty good, one camera into my back yard which is completely dark, gets about 25' of view at night, but with one porch light flipped on, or even neighbors motion light, i can see, a good 80'. no problems yet, even with set up, as i'm not very computer literate. over all very good system for the money, as with anything else the more you spend the better the product. although after reading the disclaimer at the bottom, i am writing this review to get an extended warranty, it says only the first 20 people will qualify, and you must send a link. or image, which i do not not know how to do, so this is apparently a waste of my time, and just for marketing purposes for defender, a bit disappointed with that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great camera system

I bought this camera system two weeks ago and installed it myself. It was very easy and the quality was very good. Setting up the remote viewing was super easy. I highly recommend this product.

Wonderful product

Bought this product after an attempted break into my home. Very easy to set up hardest part was running the wires. It did help that I read reviews before buying and learned the restrictions on the initial password. Love that I'm able to use my phone to check on my house while I'm at work. I also bought a DVR lockbox that I bolted down just in case someone does get into my home they won't be able to just take the DVR and I wouldn't have any thing to identify them. Just wish this company had one for sale that was made for this particular DVR. If they did I would have bought it, but didn't see one on this site.

I have enjoyed using this and it was easy to install. great definition cameras are great during daylight. Need a light source at night.

Got this product after trying several others,
And let me tell you this product knock them all,
I got the defender hd with 2 cam and DVR,
And unlike others, with this one you get recording for 30 days, and the best part, it's for free.
Had some technical issues with one of the Cam's and Daniela from customer service solved my issue with 2 seconds.
Very professional.
To my opinion this product should be sold double the current price.
One more thing, they even have Mobile app so you can view your cameras and control on the go.
And let me tell you this product knock them all,
