First Adaptor Doesn't Work

Bought this adaptor for a Deity Duo mic I was originally using on my SLR. Used it a few times indoors to record with just the front facing mic indoors on the GoPro. After turning on the dual mic option on the Deity while using it with the GoPro I find out it's still recording from the GoPro internal mic. Going to try and get this warrantied at least once, hopefully I can get an adaptor that works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
