I wanted the pedestal washer to wash my delicates. It is easy to use and I can wash a load in the main washer and the pedestal at the same time which cuts down on time spent doing laundry. Clothes are softer and cleaner than in the big washer with other clothes.

Signature is supposed to be the top of the LG line, or so I thought but doesn't apparently apply to the sidekick that came with the washing machine. Case in point: Instead of providing reservoirs for detergent and fabric softener you have a small rubber cup you must fill with detergent to be placed inside the tub for the washing. When the signal goes off to add the fabric softener you have to pause the wash cycle; pull out the tub; add the softener; close the tub and re-engage the cycle. The less expensive and smaller LG models have reservoirs on the top of the unit where you pour the detergent on one side and the fabric softener on the other negating the entire process described above. Did I get the wrong Sidekick for my Signature Washer, I'm wondering?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the sidekick washer since October and am very dissappointed with it. It sticks mid-wash and we have had water all over our laundry room floor after every wash. The fix is to get behind the washer and unplug it and that "resets" it. The problem is the tub is still full of water. I wish that it worked because I have a lot of items that I want to wash in a small load. Don't recommend the sidekick at all.
I love the mega machine itself so this is just referring to the sidekick.
