I love the versatility of this oven. It works great as a microwave with many different settings and options for cooking and reheating. The convection oven feature allows me to have an extra oven when cooking large meals.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my 3rd Advantium micro/ convention oven. I cannot say enough good things. First appliance to change out is a boring one style old fashion microwave. It pairs perfectly with theGE Profile 30 in convection oven. Which it is also my 3rd new install. Perfect combo for my family.

It takes awhile to figure out all the controls. Prefer a hard copy manual for general operation. Ex: popcorn is very hard to find in the controls. The mechanical feature we would like to have incorporated is a side opening door. This would allow for product owners to reach in and clean the unit with less strain. (My wife is 5'7" and still can't reach inside to clean without a step ladder. The model we owned in the early 2000's opened from the side and was much easier to clean and reach into.)
For our earlier model we were told to use a glass cooktop cleaner to clean the inside. This worked really well for baked on food. But now, it's hot water and Cerama Bryte and there is still staining on the walls (we do clean it each time).

The first generation Advantium had more preprogrammed menus and was more intuitive. The new model is much less cook-friendly. Have a real user help design the help menu and buttons/controls. Even the oven light switch was not intuitive.

Great for microwaving, reheating, and cooking meal

The oven is great. The kitchen design had the unit installed under an upper cabinet.
With the door opening forward as compared to side opening I needed to have the unit lowered so I could reach in easier. Just something to keep in mind when locating the unit. My friends love theirs.

Best purchase ever!

I had owned the original model bought in 2002. It lasted over 18 years. Was very happy with it. I recently replaced it with this newer and updated model and even more thrilled with it now that the interior is larger. It's a bit pricey but if you don't have room for a second oven, this is worth it.
