I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 other heaters. This one performs great. As stated, it is for a room and not a house. Great for storage rooms too. Heat does start immediately. My bedroom heated up in minutes. There is an internal safety that shuts it off if tipped or if it gets too hot- my other space heaters have this too and it is a benefit. There is a 5 year warranty and Vornado is known to stand by their products. I recommend it.
Pros: Durable, Good Power Output, Heats Up Quickly, Lightweight
Cons: Cord fits in back slot but is NOT detachable, Fan does not blow real hard, Needs a removable/washable cover for rear vent

Awesome heat when you need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you want to enjoy coffee in a sunroom but it is 28 degrees, this is the perfect heater. Quite,warms the room quickly,easy to use. Great Quality compact heater that warms a room in a reasonable time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect little heater for those between the season's periods of the year. It is the ideal heater to use room by room as it is occupied. We are presently using one of these units in our family room which measures approximately 30 x 20 feet and it does a wonderful job of keeping the place nice and warm yet not so warm that it runs you out of the place. You can touch this thing without it burning you which is a big advantage for us. It also has an automatic cut off should the heater turn over. (This feature does work as we have tried it several times). It also automatically shuts off if the heat flow is covered; again, with a little one running around this is most certainly a great feature. The heat generated is what I call "soft heat," and by that I mean you know the room is being heated but there is not intense 'hot spots." This machine does have a handle which makes it easy to move from room to room. The heater is easy to move from place to place. This heater is attractive and non-intrusive, making little to no noticeable noise. I also like the cord storage compartment.

Great Heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this heater.It heats up much quicker than other heaters I have tried, and I love the fact that it won't burn you if you touch it. I have 3 kids aged 3-9, so that is a very good feature. I don't have to worry about them getting too close and getting burned. It does a very good job of heating up the living room. I would like to purchase a few more for other rooms. I was aware of this type of heater before I received this one, but not of this particular brand. I would definitely recommend this heater to anyone.

Vornado is the best

Great supplemental heat for cabin

The only heat source at our small rural Wisconsin cabin is a wood stove. We designed the cabin with a single large room on the main floor and a smaller loft upstairs. We thought this would work great with wood heat rising into the loft. Well, it works too good (especially in the spring and fall) and we are sweltering if we stoke the fire to last all night. We bought this room sized heater so we could let the fire die down overnight and then use the Vornado heater to keep the loft warm until morning. It works like a charm! Cool downstairs by morning, but nice and warm upstairs. (Last night it was 36 degrees outside, 60 degrees on the ground floor, and 70 degrees in the loft with the heater on LOW!) The heat circulates nicely throughout the room instead of blowing directly on us, and does not sink to the ground floor, keeping us toasty upstairs. (On the main floor you will find a Vornado fan that we've had for many years and we love that too.) 5 year warranty is nice.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Compact, Stable Base
Cons: Little loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend this for warming a small room or under a desk. It clearly says warm a room nor a whole house. I have no idea if it is truly efficient as my electric bill has not arrived yet.

I Would Buy One For Every Room In The House

It was cool to the touch, which is a plus, because of my cats. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone I know!! I can't wait to see how much I'm saving on my electric bill.
