A virtual "Vornado" of warmth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying out the Vornado whole room heater was perfect timing, as outside temps just dropped. I was skeptical of space heaters, but I very interested so see how the Vornado would work in the "cold spots" in certain rooms. But let's look at this from start to finish: 1. I had the Vornado out of the box and working in minutes. I was very impressed with it's ease of use, plentiful safety features (cool touch case, tipover protection, 2 stage auto shutoff) and how quiet it was on both low and high settings. 2. I tested the Vornado is different sized rooms, i.e., kitchen, bathroom, den, bedroom, garage). The time it took to feel the warm, gentle heat was impressive. Obviously, the smaller the room, the quicker it will warm up. What I really loved was that the heat was like a soft breeze and not a hot blast. And it's whisper quiet. 3. Our family is already fighting over who gets to use the Vornado, so we might have to buy another one. It's small and very portable, but it heats rooms very well. Note: if you use this in your bedroom, you will be lulled to sleep by the soft white noise emitted by the heater. I love it!

Warm Your Entire Livingroom Safely and Quietly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater quickly heats up the entire living room quietly and safely. I don't want to pay to heat my entire house when everyone is in the living room and this space heater is a perfect solution for me. I had another radiant heater, but it was not safe---it scorched a blanket that got too close and obviously it could have started a fire. Also that radiant heater made it very hot if you were right next to it, but every where else was cold. This heater is much better because it heats the entire room. Also, this heater is safe. It is cool to the touch and if it tips over even a little bit it automatically turns off. The heater has a high and a low setting and then it has a dial with 10 different levels, so you can set it to the exact amount of heat that you want. You can turn it up or down just a little bit. This heater is so quiet that you can hardly hear it. The heater is small and it sort of looks like a stereo speaker, so it can blend in with other electronics. Also, you don't need to position it right next to you since it heats such a wide area. I really recommend this heater because it heats up a room quickly, quietly, and safely. It also allows me to save so much money on heating bills.

Absolutely does the job. I have 3 Vornados, that heat my whole house. The other 2 are the VH30, and are totally quiet. My most recent purchase was the VH10, which heats just as well as the VH30, but I experience a little bit of a blowing noise.

Very Happy with this heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an unexpected cold snap but didn't want to crank up the heat just yet. We wanted to warm up the room. This heater did it right away. Was so surprised at how quickly it worked. Very pleased and I am definitely going to be using during our cold New Hampshire winters

This heater heats up my tiny studio apartment very well. Its quiet, I had to stand in front of it to make sure it was working when I first got it because you cant hear it. When I was reading the operating manual I saw I comes with a 5 year warranty so that's cool.
Pros: Good Power Output, Quiet
Cons: No remote control

Great Heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a good heater for our family room. We previously had an oil-filled radiator type heater that didn't do a very good job and was hot to the touch. The Vornado heater may be smaller in size but does a much better job. It also turns off automatically if you pick it up or tilt it, great safety features. It makes no noise at all and you don't even know it is on. I highly recommend this heater.

I have had my Vornado for a couple of years. I found it on sale and grabbed it. I'd been looking at them since I bought my small motor home (a 24 foot one). It heats my motor home so the propane furnace seldom comes on and off all night, waking me up. The Vornado is perfectly quiet so I can get a good night's sleep. Recently my propane quit working and I was on my way home from a dog show with all my dogs. I had to stop to plug in for the night so I'd have heat. It was 24 degrees outside and believe me motor homes are not insulated very well. Little Vornado managed to keep us all warm enough with a few blankets added. That is no small task when in the 20s. I originally bought it just for the motor home but soon it began coming back in the house with me after a trip. I have a sunroom which is glass on 3 sides. It is heated, but the heater is so loud it wakes me up and also makes it hard to hear TV. Vornado supplements the heater so my life is much better.
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Great for my small motorhome, Lightweight, Quiet, Safe around pets, Stable Base
