Love this kitchen item, wish I had it sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I was given this product to review for free and with that being said These are still my honest opinions. I love this multi cooker and can't believe I have lived without it. I love that it can be a frying pan, oven or a crock pot. I can use one "cooking pot" and not dirty several. When a recipe calls for browing of the meat then cook/ crockpot you can do it all in one, I love that. I usually skip that step because it just is not convienent/have the time but now I do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good buy if you're looking for a slow cooker with added benefits. I hate having to dirty extra dishes and pans by having to brown meat before adding it to the slow cooker. I can brown my meat right in this and then add the other ingredients to complete my slow cooker meal. It cuts down on time and dirty dishes! This multi cooker is huge though. It's not something to leave on the counter full time unless you have loads of counter space. I keep mine in my basement. The inside crock is dishwasher safe. You can sear meat, saute veggies and slow cook all in this one multi cooker. It's 6.5 quarts so it's perfect for a larger family like mine. The stainless steel handles do get hot so use caution when touching them! I also love the oven feature on here. It can go up to 450 degrees. All in all, it's a nice appliance to have!

Great Design and Features

I was absolutely thrilled to get to try this multi cooker because I live a very busy life but want to be able to cook and enjoy great food. The multi temperature settings made it easy to slow cook delicious food and then switch to the warming feature which kept it warm without over cooking it. The removable cooking pot and tempered lid are dishwasher safe which made clean up a breeze. I highly recommend this multi cooker for anyone who desires a quality affordable appliance that will last for years to come.

Great m versatile cooker that's easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Black and Decker Multi-cooker free to test and review. I am absolutely so impressed with all the wonderful functions this appliance affords novice cooks like myself. After receiving this item, I quickly found a recipe that my family would enjoy and that would allow for me to test out the multitude of functions the multi-cooker allows for. I found a recipe for Rootbeer pulled pork which required an 8 hour low cook speed or 4 hour high speed. I chose to cook on high. I served with sauteed vegetables. This cooker did it all with ease. The meat was so tender it pulled apart with a fork and it cooked evenly and quickly. The vegetables had such a wonderful flavor and it was such an easy process with this cooker. From novice to more experienced chefs, this Black and Decker multi-cooker is a must have in the kitchen and cuts down on the number of appliances you have to fit on your shelf.

Wonderful features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not just an ordinary slow-cooker.There different temperature levels Sear/Saute, Roast/Bake & Slow Cook. Gives you more options to cook food. With a 6.5 Quart dish, has plenty of room to make portions large enough for a whole family and even guest. The baking was a little tricky and probably takes more practice. The only downside is, being so big, I have to store in the box, not on my counter.And clean-up a little hard, cause heavy when washing. But still work the money.

best multicooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooker has all the bells and whistles and I was so excited to receive and try it. I use a slow cooker weekly so to have one that I could also to roasting and searing in was a definite plus for me. When I explained to my husband what all the dials were for his response was, "so you don't even need the oven?". This was an awesome response and fit perfectly because he was right, I can do anything i usually do right here in this cooker! Aside from doing everything, it was simple to setup and the controls were easy to use as well as it being really easy to clean. I absolutely love this product! I would recommend it to anyone.

All in one wonder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooker does everything and I love it. It is a true multi-cooker. It has a beautiful stainless steel body with black accents. The unit itself has 2 stainless steel handles on the side for easy moving around. The inner cooking vessel also has 2 stainless steel handles for easy transport as well and is also nice and large for everyday cooking to larger gathering cooking. It has a nice large clear glass lid with a silicone handle for easy viewing and a vent hols to disperse steam. They are two controls knobs on the front of the unit, the first for slow cooking settings and sear/saute and roast/bake. The other has the variable temperature knob that goes from 200 degrees to 450 degrees F. There is also the on/off switch in the middle with and indicator light just above it. it also comes with a cooking rack that can also be elevated with the attached arms. This is a great cooker and a true one pot meal maker.

I used the sear/saute setting to brown my ground meat, then used the slow cooker setting on low to cook it.I would recommend this multicooker to everyone.
