permanent place on my counter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to sample and it is AMAZING. I love that the pan is lite weight. It makes it soo easy to wash. My regular crockpot is away for good! I love that i can use the saute feature on meat, then add more ingredients and switch it to bake or slow cooker! Saves me time and dishes!

Not your mother's crock pot - its so much more.

I made pulled pork, roasted chicken & potatoes and turkey burgers all in the Black & Decker Multicooker. It cooked evenly and thoroughly. It cooks quicker than expected so adjust your time accordingly. Do not touch the exterior during cooking - instruction state it gets hot. Believe it. Only feature I wish it came with is a cooking timer. I definitely recommend the Black & Decker Multicooker. It will replace several small appliances.

Saves Me Time With Searing Meats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of different products in my kitchen that can do different functions for each of my kitchen jobs. Even though this Black and Decker Multicooker definitely is larger, it takes less room than all of my other appliances on my counter! I love that it sears meat, because sometimes when I want to use the crock pot for a soup recipe, it usually calls for me to sear my meat and veggies so that it can leave better flavor. And that means I would have to go out of my way and grab another pan, and brown my meats on the stove beforehand, and then pour it in the multicooker. But the Black and Decker Multicooker not only saves me from having to grab extra dishes to do the job, it also saves me time! I am in love with this multicooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this is very sturdy and it is very well made quality materials. It can sear my onions and beef right in the same cooker for my chili recipe without dirtying extra pots and pans. It has a temperature setting which controls how hot you like it to be. I just wish that it had a timer function that allows me to control how long the food can cook inside without overcooking. This would be a great feature to have, especially when I am gone most of the day,and want my food to stop cooking at a certain time. The Black and Decker cooker cleans easily with mild soap and water, and it is also dishwasher safe.

Great kitchen must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Black+Decker 6.5 qt multicooker a few days ago and I am so happy with the performance I made a pot roast in it and it was great to be able to Sear my beef an with the flip of a switch turn it in to a slow cooker.
Clean up was a breeze just lift out the cooking pan and some warm soapy water and it was just sparklingly clean..A must have for every kitchen..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 6.5 Multicooker just two ago and I am in love with it ! I have made meals in it 6 times already and tried all of the features it offers. I love that I can brown meats or sear roasts right in the same vessel I plan to slow roast or slow cook in. I have made roasted chicken, beef roast with potatoes, chili, corn chowder, pork shoulder roast with sour kraut and chicken veggie soup using the Multicooker and it's various functions. Everything turned out great!This appliance not only saves me time not washing multiple pots and pans but it replaces a couple other small appliances in my kitchen, so it's a space saver as well. I can't wait to show my mom and grandma what this can do, they'll definitely be getting this for Christmas from me this year!

Great Multicooker from Black & Decker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the free Black & Decker 6.5 Quart Multicooker from the Spectrum Brands First Look Community, totally free for testing the Multicooker at home and provide my honest reviews in exchange for the free product.
After using the Multicooker I understood and was absolutely was amazed at how good the product was. I could cook a variety of dishes which required a cooking temperature from 200 degrees F to 400 degrees F. I could cook meats, fish, soups as well as lasagna with equal efficiency.
I love the ceramic interior of the cooker. I feel happy cooking with it knowing that I am not eating harmful chemicals using other utensils with other different materials.
Thank You Spectrum Brands First Look Community for offering me to test such a fine quality Multicooker. I just love using it, and I can definitely say that I will be using it for life.

Very nice all in one cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make short ribs. I was able to sear the ribs and sauté the vegetables prior to setting the unit to work as a slow cooker. I didn't have to dirty another pan, as I was able to do it all in this one. The short ribs turned out fabulous. The only thing I would change is to make the cord a little longer, as I had to move things to plug it in; and I couldn't use my metal tongs because I didn't want to scratch the non stick coating; and the metal grips were too hot to handle without a mitt. I can't wait to use this to roast a chicken.
