[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed a wine cooler in my Florida home and decided that I was missing out on not having one in my other home. It's great -- My husband pulled out a cabinet in my butler pantry and installed the cooler in less than two days. It's great.

Excellent temperature control.
The rack design is too inflexible and it caters to one specific shape of wine bottle. Actual capacity is much smaller because of excessive narrowness of the racks.
Nevertheless, you will drink your wine well preserved and at the right temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchenaid replaced my previous wine cellar due to numerous repair attempts through the extended warranty program. This unit is definitely sharper looking and quieter, and I like that it has separate temperature controls for the upper and lower zones, whereas my previous unit only had a control knob on the bottom that regulated both zones. My major complaint is that this newer model does not accommodate all sizes of bottles, especially Pinot Noirs and the workaround is to remove one of the shelves. The shelf directly under the temperature controls is useless as a normal size wine bottle doesn't fit, so I guess that would be the shelf to remove, which then reduces the number of bottles you can store in the cellar. This is why my rating was not a 5.
Come on KitchenAid, perhaps put a bit more thought into functionality when you design appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge looks great, and certainly keeps cold and functions correctly. But two stars removed for:
1 - the racks are NOT far enough apart for champagne bottles, much less anything odd sized like a desert wine bottle
2 - the black stainless picks up micro-scratches like there's no tomorrow.
It is a little noisy, but I haven't found it terribly annoying.
