[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brittany was nice enough to let me take this iron home since I didn't have a ton of time to try it at her house. My hair is naturally wavy and it was able to straighten it quite a bit. I'm not sure if my hair is the correct consistency for this item but I tried, as the pictures will attest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vocalpoint provided me with free products in exchange for an honest review. I'm disabled, so straightened my hair is very difficult. This made it easy for me to do my own hair. The only con is how hot it gets when it's in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the other girls at my "party," I was kind of disappointed in this tool advertised as being "the #1 hair tool." I think it was made for girls with super thick hair. I guess I should have thought about that when planning which guests to invite. I think all my guests had pretty fine/basic hair consistency. I felt like this made my hair shinier and smoother but didn't do a whole lot else. I even tried to curl it like the girl on the video (into "beachy waves") and only the ends curled and nothing else, even though I started higher up on my head. I wasn't really sure what the point of the rotating barrel was. Again, probably a feature that was useful to girls with super thick individual hair strands and overall thickness. The safety guard feature was nice when starting out using it but ultimately got in the way when trying the curling feature. I ended up giving this tool away to one of my guests because I thought she might possibly have more luck with it (unfortunately, she didn't have a lot of time to try it at my home, so I'm still awaiting her "after" pics.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided this item free of charge in exchange for an honest review. I actually liked this tool the best out of the 3 instyler products I was provided. It was easy to use once I got the hang of it. It took.a few tries of getting my hair tangled when I tried to curl it, but after using smaller sections of hair that solved the problem! It did a nice job at providing nice loose beachy waves on my shoulder length layered hair. I also tried using it as a straightener which smoothed my hair nicely. The only downfall is that these types of bristles REALLY frizz my hair so I found that as long as I used product in my hair it wouldn't frizz so much. If you don't use product though, beware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I had super thick, lustrous hair, this product would probably be great. However, with my fine head of hair, I would not spend the money on it. I couldn't get the desired curled look, perhaps I just needed more practice, but it did provide sheen and smoothness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the shine and volume this gave my hair. It super easy to use but you really have to practice with it to get the beachy waves.
