[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that the MAX 2-Way Rotating Iron didn't produce the results that were advertised without a lot of practice in order to get used to the way that iron operates. I have fine hair so the volumizing step was hard to get it to produce results. I am not used to a automatic rotating feature on an iron so that would take some practice. Overall, the curls that it produced in my long, fine hair weren't quite up to par with my expectations.

I used it mainly to straighten and was very impressed by how smooth and shiny it made my hair. During my Glam Squad party, my guests used it to go curly and the results were equally awesome! This one was, by far, the favorite of the tools among my Glam Squad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the fence about the MAX 2-Way Rotating Iron. This tool worked the best of the three for everyone in my party. But, I feel like the teeth in the brush would be damaging for my hair type and repeated use could cause heat damage from the hot barrel. There is a heat control option, but, it's still hot. I have natural hair and I'm African-American. It did smooth my hair quickly, but not as straight as a traditional flat iron. Was able to do my entire head much quicker than with a flat iron or other tools. I think it's fine to use every once in a while, but, the brush was just too rough for my hair type. Once again, I think this tool would produce better results on naturally straight/slightly wavy hair or hair that has been blown straight first. But, I don't have to blow dry my hair straight before using my CHI to get straight results.
