[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Max 2-way rotating iron left my hair shinier and gave it pretty good body but I felt it was a little cumbersome to use. My younger guests seemed to have an easier time using it and had better results, they do straighten their hair daily so that may be why. It seemed to work equally well on both very long hair and medium length hair.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this product. I'm more familiar with flat ironing my hair as opposed to curling it, and I had good success with that using this product. I liked how I could brush and flat iron easily with one hand. I also like how the barrel rotates - apparently this distributes the heat more evenly in order to do less damage to your hair. (I would still suggest using a heat protector on your hair though).
I found I wasn't as skilled with curling my hair with this tool, but with some practice I think i could get better at it. Some of the girls I had the vocalpoint party with were able to get some good curls going in their hair.
I do like how the tool comes with a detachable heat guard. It seemed to curl just fine with the guard on.
I did love how shiny my hair was after using this tool!
