Directions were easy to follow and set up in less than 30 minutes. Love the eco mode and the sleekness of the device. Highly recommend.

Cool gadget

I initially got this because I love new technology and I wanted to be able to turn down my heat while away from home in the event I forgot to. Now that I have it, it impresses me more and more. I love that it lights up as I approach it. I like that I can ask Alexa to tell me the temperature or change it without having to get up. I also noticed that I'm going through way less oil than I was before. I have it set on a schedule based on my lifestyle so I don't touch it much at all. I would recommend the Nest to anyone wanting to save money and make their home smarter.

The only issue I had with installation was due to the way my system was originally configured; otherwise, setup was very easy. Within the first day or two, I noticed how much better the Nest Thermostat was at managing my heating and cooling system. When engaged, my heat would run for a much shorter duration that it did with my old thermostat (mercury based). In addition, the larger higher resolution screen on the 3rd generation looks sleek and modern. When installed, the overall design gives my home really adds to the overall style of my home. After making several updates to my home, the large rectangular brown box in the hallway stuck out like a sore thumb. The Nest Thermostat stands out, but adds a nice touch to the overall feel in the area it currently resides that never looks out of place.

Love this termostat

We had an old fashion thermostat that we suspected wasn't working properly but just couldn't seem to figure it out. We put the Nest in and when you change the temp, the heat kicks in immediately, that isn't what was happening with the old one. We love the "learning" feature, so that the thermostat does the work of changing the temp when your not home or sleeping. Very happy with this product.

Great Product, Great Value

I received my Nest Learning Thermostat as part of my solar power purchase. They wanted to install an Ecobee, but I insisted on Nest. The solar company had the Nest installed for me, but it seemed very straightforward. We ran into one hiccup with the Nest not connecting to my wifi, and that turned out that it was my modem/router stopping the Nest. After correcting the DHCP and IPv6 settings on my modem, the Nest connected immediately and has worked ever since. We're really happy with it and are looking forward to being as energy and cost-saving as we can be.

If Nest had a simple hold feature it would be best thermostat on the market!

The Nest Thermostat is a nice looking addition to any home. Start saving money on your energy bills as soon as you install it. I saw a 23% reduction in my first heating bill after I installed. I would highly recommend this product!

I like that it was simple to install, has an easy to read display with several intensity settings, and can be adjusted remotely. While my utility bills aren't that high, I can further reduce them through remote changes but to be honest, once the Nest quickly learns your habits, it does the work for you.
