Wave of the future

This is one of the best products we have used that incorporates the aspects of artificial intelligence. Replaced a program that we have to go online to program, that required a password and was not that user friendly. Since using this, we have been extremely happy both with the ease of usage, but its ability to accomodate our needs is fantastic! Get it.

Great Product

Simple installation. Once installed, download the nest app and you can control the temperature from your phone while away from home. There is a feature that shows the outside temp and upcoming weather which is very cool. Not sure about how efficient is will be yet, since we have just began using this product, but from what we have used so far, would highly recommend this product.

More versatile than I expected

The nest installed easily and the instructions are quite thorough. What I learned is by connecting the thermostat to the net it opened up a wide range of capability that I would not have expected from a simple thermostat. It is like adding smart capability to a dumb furnace/ac. too bad I couldn't upgrade my old TV as easily.

Best thermostat out.

I used the Sensi WiFi for a few years. I was constantly changing the temps. The only cool thing about it was being able to lay in bed and change the temp without getting up. I installed the EcoBee4 and got the extra sensors. I set it up correctly but we were never comfortable. I had to play with it more than the Sensi and woke up with my newborn too cold or too hot way too much. It was never comfortable. My power bill almost double because it had turned the aux heat on even at 60 degrees. Possibly just a defective thermostat, I got the Nest and have been much more comfortable without changing the temps. Far better than the last three thermostats I’ve used. Very simple design and works well.
