I have only had this for a few days now, but I am thoroughly impressed by how simple it was to setup. I am still waiting for something to go wrong because it was so simple... I keep thinking that I have maybe forgotten to do something critical, but no... it just works. The only way installation could have been simpler was if it was just an electrical plug. Seriously impressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I installed my nest in a 2nd home that I also Airbnb. It appears to work well in that application for me. These reviews are always soon after purchase or instalation so time will tell but great so far.

Easy to install

We have only had it installed for about 12 hours. But if the installation was any indication of how easy it is to use.....it should be easy. It took me about 45 min, but some of that was just trying to put the screws into the wall....by hand. But set up was so easy. Once you download the app, it walks you through the whole process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation and setup was a breeze! I had it unpackaged and installed in less than 30 minutes. The thermostat looks amazing on the wall, with a high tech and professional aesthetic. As for quality, you can't get a higher quality residential thermostat, the dial turn is so smooth and the high resolution display is top notch.

We didn't like the thermostat the previous owners had installed in our house but hadn't done anything about it yet. Then we got offered a Nest thermostat, a smart bulb, and a Google home mini as a package from Duke energy. We got the package, and we love the thermostat. It works just like the articles I'd read said, and it's a lot more pleasant than the clunky programmable thermostat we had.
