Nest 3rd generation learning thermostat

I read prior reviews and they recommended to have a common wire for your thermostat. My wires are really old to begin with and I was doing remodeling so I put a new thermostat wire in that had a common wire. I don't know how strong we needed it but I added mine and I don't think it hurt to do this. Other than that everything with my nest third generation learning thermostat is absolutely amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am replacing a broken nest thermostat. Thermostat fit the old base that was already inst9so that I could save on installation cost

I didn't NEED a new thermostat. I was used to getting up in the middle of the night and changing the temp. Changing it before leaving and when I get home. I was used to saying , "shoot, forgot to turn down the AC! It's going to be freezing when we get home!"
The black sleekness and sophisticated look made me want to splurge on the Nest. Boy, was I wrong! I did NEED the Nest!

Had my Nest thermostat professionally installed by Paragon Mechanical. Excellent service and explaining all features. We've only had it one day, but working well.

Couldn't be happier with product...or service

I had a nest thermostat for about a year, when it stopped connecting to the wifi network. After a chat exchange, the nest team was able to determine that the interface needed to be replaced. A new one arrived within a week and I was only asked to return the malfunctioning one. Great product and great service!
