Nest "learning thermostat" Looks great but... I found it a bit difficult to set up cell phone control. Once it was set up by HVAC professional the system worked great. I still can't get my wife the ability to control with her cell phone. Any help from whom ever would be appreciated. The other issue I have is it seems to take the AC unit longer to reach the desired internal temp. since installing.

I would recommend this thermostat to anyone whether you need one or not. It's convenient and once you read up on it, it's easier to use than I thought. I would buy it again if needed.

Stunningly beautiful

We had a nest that was old so I got a new one. I’d actually first bought an Ecobee because we wanted something with HomeKit compatibility, but the look and interface didn’t even come close to the Nest. So we returned it and got a nest. The lack of HomeKit compatibility is definitely a minus, but there are workarounds, and even without them I can’t say we need it much.

The Nest learning thermostat gives us the ease of mind while we're on vacation that our house is the temperature we want it to be. We live in Minnesota, and have been on vacation when the temperature is -20 at home. By looking at the Nest app we can see that our furnace is still running and that the house is still warm so we don't have to come home to frozen pipes.

The programming is nothing, it has a very sturdy feel to it, very vibrant display. I expect it to save me money on my electric bills

Have had the Nest Thermostat for 3 1/2 years with no problems. We love the features it provides and really like being able to program from our iPhone or tablet.
