Very user friendly both from thermostat and the Nest app. We liked ours so much that we gave one to our son as a gift.

After deciding to purchase the thermostat, I varied on the site that it will work with my A/C system. Was pleased that I was good to go. I installed the Nest App on my phone and it the app just walks you through the entire installation process. It's that simple. What I like about the nest thermostat is how simple/sleek/sophisticated/ease of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
