Nest is the Best

Full disclosure, I am a total nerd and I used to be an HVAC tech. However if you can use a screwdriver and you like home automation this is the thermostat for you. It has all the features you could ever want and is very powerful in that regard but at the same time, it's so easy for your granny to use. That takes great design. This Nest thermostat gen 3 has the best design of any product ever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product to set up. Best feature so far is to set up temperature range for your home and best automatically decides to either switch on the Heat or Cool to set that temperature based on the conditions. I have been using this for less than a week, I will update this review as time pass by.

I really like this product for my home. I believe it will pay for itself eventually. I want to purchase another for my RV but it isn’t compatible with 12V heater and A/C units.

I saw it in my son in laws house who lives in North Carolina. He has a HVAC business and he told me about it and how it worked. I don't like change, but this was great for our Cottage in central Pa. We can control the the temperature, check and see if the power is on or off, (We get a lot of power outages in this area) its a safety net. You can add so many things, security cameras and more.
