We had a Nest in our previous home, then relocated to a MUCH bigger house. During the renovations I had 4 thermostats replaced with Nests.
The set up is very easy, and they integrate with the Protects that I installed instead of the old hardwired detectors. I don’t use the app cuz the learning is so good. The house knows our schedule, the weather, preferences and heats and cools accordingly.

Very good home automation product

I've found the Nest thermostat to be very useful in controlling my home environment to the point of adding some at my church, my son's home and his small business. So easy to control remotely and it has already provided valuable diagnostic information that headed off some problems. My only complaint is that the software will only allow me to control 3 accounts (I already need access to 4).

I bought this to change out my old thermostat and so I could control the temp in my house better and from anywhere. The nest learning thermostat has greatly increased the comfort level in my home and gives me the control I need to make sure my electric bill isn't insane. The price is a little high but it is a good product

Love everything about this product. Easy to use and install. Anyone can follow the instructions and get it working. Love the look and feel, the app helps manage your home when your away, plus with the app it learns how you like the homes atmosphere when you step in. I recommend this nest product to anyone!

Thermostat vs Thermostat E

We have used both and they are each exceptional at adapting to your temps and schedule and saving energy. The flagship Thermostat really is worth the extra if you want a few more extras like showing the outside temp and weather when you walk by or other customizable screens. Also it is a great resolution screen and not frosted like the E. Either option is in the top of the category in my opinion!

Finally Got A Nest!

So we are getting solar panels installed and as part of our package, we also got a Nest thermostat. I've always wanted one, but it's even better than expected! The app is easy to use, and I'm looking forward to seeing the impact on my energy bill. The learning and the away/home features are very cool.
