Energy Consumption Down 7% YOY

We have three (3) Nest learning thermostats at our home in TX. All else equal, at $.095 (nine and half cents) per KwH and Texas weather being what it is, our first year of Nest ownership more than paid for the units. Our annual consumption dropped 7%, and that was without knowing what I was doing. We expect to eek out a bit more savings this year. Great product and easy to learn.

The easiest and Most Effective Upgrade.

My first winter electric bill was almost 3 times what I'd been paying in an apartment. After picking myself up and finding the money to pay this bill, I immediately looked into ways to save money. a couple of hours in research later I settled on the Nest Learning Thermostat and instantly entered a world of modern simplicity I'd never before experienced. Don't waste any more time, buy the Nest.

Nest thermostat

I’ve have a Nest thermostat in my main residence and a condo in another state. They both work as advertised, the ability to control the house temps remotely is a major plus.
The controls are easy to figure out, the readout is clear, and in three years I’ve had no issues

This Might be my favorite product in my house

I love not paying to heat or cool my house when I don't want to. Let's be honest we all work, we're gone from the house for 8+ hours a day. Why do we need to heat or cool our house for the majority of those hours? This device allows you to not do that. It also learns your patterns. It will learn when you leave and come home and heat/cool appropriately.

It was very easy to set up and it makes it easy when away to change the settings so when we get home the house is at the temperature we prefer. It has saved about 10% on our energy bill in the last year.

Nest Learning Thermostat

I have installed three of these thermostats. All of the installations were easy, and took less than 20 minutes, including programming the schedule.
The feature I use the most is monitoring and controlling the temperature when I am away.
I would recommend this to a friend!
