Works as advertised

I already had a Nest E thermostat and liked it so much I took it with me when I moved to a house with 3 separate HVAC systems. I bought the Nest 3rd gen thermostat to install in the basement HVAC system, which is mostly used when guests visit, because the Nest 3rd gen will control a central dehumidifier whereas the Nest E only provides humidity information.

I decided to buy the Nest over others because of the great reviews and classy look... so glad I did. Not only does it look great but it was extremely easy to set up and use the app. It integrates seamlessly with Alexa and couldn’t be easier to manage. Can’t wait to see the savings in my heating bills.... Thanks Nest!

I love this thermostat! We have a home that has too many stairs and it either gets too hot or too cold upstairs, so it's nice to be able to just adjust the temperature on my phone without having to get out of bed in the middle of the night. I'm not lazy haha I just get up enough at night with my infant. Definitely will be gifting this thermostat to friends and family!

I love everything about this thermostat: it’s easy to install, easy to configure and easy to use. It’s intuitive enough that anyone could use this device without instruction. And it’s the best looking device on the market. I should have bought this sooner.

Not sure if set up right

I was able to get the Nest Thermostat through my power company on a special promotion. Installation was very simple, but I am not sure I have it set up for the most efficient use. The explanation of how the thermostat learns seems to be clear enough, but I am not sure how the learning feature interacts with a pre-set schedule, and I am not sure how to effectively take advantage of the "leaf".
I would recommend this to a friend!
