I recently received the Nest as a gift. This is the perfect item for somebody trying to reduce the energy spend, or a techie that wants a new toy for the home.
the 2 features I enjoy the most are being able to change the temperature in my condo from my phone and using voice controls via alexa, and its definitely sharper than the plain unit thermostat I had prior.
2 thumbs up.

Actually pretty simple

I got this as my first smart home device. Really because I wanted something that would learn my schedule. And something that window when I left the house (I tend to forget to turn the heat down) witch in the winter is not so good for my heating bill! Fairly easy to install. And decent support for the small issue I had with my personal heater. If you have a newer system it could be easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Little Device

I bought it on a black friday sale along with the Nest Video Doorbell. Installation was incredibly easy on both products. Everything works beautifully through the app on my phone and also directly through the devices themselves. Very easy to operate, and I've had no issues at all so far. Super happy with this choice and highly recommend it to anyone else. They both look super sleek and sharp!

I purchased the nest learning thermostat gen3 this weekend. Had it up and running within an hour of opening the box and getting started. I love it! Works great. Going to buy a 2nd one for the upstairs system soon.

The ability to install it yourself and be ready to use this product, in an hour or less, is impressive. Once you know your system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat you are good to go!
