Easy to use with a nice design

Our Nest is fun to use, especially because of the way it learns our preferences as we actually set them rather than forcing us to program temperatures that we think we will like. The thermostat is easy to install and connect to our Wifi. The support material that is available online is helpful.

Love my Nest

We had a programmable thermostat but went we went away for a week or more in the winter we had to either stick to the schedule or come home to a cold house. So we really looked forward to being able to turn up the heat while driving home but there is so much more to like. It is nice to be able to check the history of our usage and I especially like the monthly reports that I have been getting via email. Also when the hubby sneaks up the temp instead of putting a sweater on, I can turn it down again, even if I am not at home!

Great Product

This is well worth the money I paid for it. Just the savings from owning for one month has helped pay for this. I plan to purchase another learning nest thermostat for the different zones on my heating. I had an older turn style that I replaced. It had just the black and white wires(only two). Nest is a breeze to setup and add to my existing network. Nest Learning thermostat has gone above and beyond my expectations.

We’ve only had our Nest for 3 days and so far we love it! Modern look, interfaces with Amazon xon Alexia and so easy to adjust the thermostat! We’re letting the Nest learn our habits and adjust the thermostat accordingly. Can’t wait to see how it will help reduce our utilities.

Have had our Nest 3rd Gen thermostat for two months -- installed it myself when we bought our new home. Installation is super easy, and it comes with everything you need including a neat little screwdriver. The instructions are complete and easy to follow. The Nest is absolutely glitch-free, as is the phone app (I have Android) and besides, it just looks incredibly cool. This is a high quality unit with a great feel to it. When people come over to see our new digs I point it out to them and they want one of their own.
Having the ability to control the temp from away from home is really great, as is the ability to do it from my bedside table in the middle of the night if I choose. Mine is set to go into Eco mode when I am away from the house and all that happens automatically as long as I remember to take my phone with me. Get one -- you will love, it and that is a promise :)

Great Upgrade for any Home !

We received a Nest Thermostat along with a pre-order of the Nest Hello Video Doorbell (Will Receive in March) and a full Google Home setup with 3 Google Home Mini's a Google Home and a Chromecast as a family Christmas gift. The Thermostat works amazing with this setup and the fact that you can control it from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. The setup was very easy, turn off the breaker for the A/C Unit, Remove existing thermostat, run the cables through the provided plate, match up the correct cables as shown in the booklet that comes with the thermostat, mount it to the wall all nice and pretty with the flush mount plate, power back on the breaker and voila! Set it up on your WiFi and answer a few questions about your A/C System and you are up and running ! ! !

These are awesome, smaller than most thermostats. You can feel the quality in these. They work great, and have tons of options and functionality. Very aesthetic and pleasant to view.
