My wife and I recently purchased or first home and had been looking to set up things to better automate our experience. One of our pain points was the house always felt cold.
When we finally bought and installed the nest thermostat we immediately noticed the house felt more comfortable and love being able to control the temperature from any where. I can't recommend this product enough.

Wish I'd upgraded sooner!

I recently replaced my old Honeywell thermostats after 13 years of faithful service. My house has 2 units, and the downstairs thermostat began to give us problems (constantly running under Aux or Emergency heat). I did some research and decided to get the 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat. I was amazed at how easy it was to install. In less than 20 minutes, I had them both working!

I read the other reviews and have to admit that set-up was a breeze. I like to be ableto control the temp. In my house while I'm away. Easy to access and my wife loves it too.

Pleasantly Surprised!

We purchased a Nest after first purchasing another brand. We spent over an hour (maybe 2) trying to install the other brand. We returned it and purchased a Nest unit. When we got home we instantly went to work and it took less than 5 minutes to install and instantly connected to our Wi-fi! Such a great product! We have had it 5 days now and we love it!

Wouldn't have any other thermostat

I was on the original wait list for the 1st gen Nest thermostat. In the 1st year, I noticed a reduction in my electricity bill of $22/month, on average, which paid for the thermostat. I used that Nest from 2012 until we moved in 2018. Once we got in the new home, I immediately pulled out the existing thermostat and replaced it with a new 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat.

Nice to operate the thermostat from my phone

I installed the Nest myself and it was a fairly simple process aside from some wiring issues that were not the fault of the new thermostat. It synced with my router and my phone flawlessly and this part of the initial setup using the thermostat was very easy and much simpler than I thought it would be. I have only had it for a few days so time will tell how it operates and saves energy.
