Good upgrade choice

Installed latest generation Nest after seeing another setup. Fast and easy to install, replaced a programmable 5/2 thermostat. Auto setback combined with geofencing should give measurable savings with no manual temp adjustment on our part.

Very pleased with the ease of install and simple interface. In my opinion worth the time to not use the plate and prep the wall so the puck only can be installed. Clean look. I love that the screen turns on when I walk by. I always glance over to make sure the temp is right where I left it and makes me consider if I could make an adjustment to get an eco saving!

I highly suggest this thermostat for everyone. My house is always a comfortable temperature and my energy bills aren't through the roof! It looks amazing and is super easy to use, especially when paired with the app.

Just installed a Gen2 version to remotely inspect (mostly) and control the temperature. I would forget to turn down the plain round thermostat (having decided that most programmable ones were not so great). Not sure whether I will use all that many of the fancy features, but maybe in time. Set up was straightforward, but understand the "C" wire issue(s) or get a pro to set it up!

Excellent Value

The Nest was an upgrade from another brand. The ease of installation was by far the best part of this thermostat. The other required a power converter to be installed within the furnace, but the Nest has an internal power converter and battery. I was able to install the Nest in 10 minutes and had it operational in 30.
Most of all I wanted an Apple Watch app, which Nest delivered on.
