Better than expected

Easy hook up and love the Home and Away feature. I live alone and am gone a lot for work and I set my own schedule so I don't have a usual routine. So Home and Away is by far the best way for me to save energy without the hassle of trying to remember to adjust the unit manually.

Love my Nest!!

It's so easy reading the Nest when you're over 40! It gives the temperature outside as well, learns your habits and will automatically adjust when you are heading off to bed or getting up in the morn.

Easy Nest Thermostat

I was a bit skeptical when first purchasing the Nest thermostat but have come to love it. The ease of installation to setting and using is great. In a very short time the thermostat 'learned' my temperature likes and times. I really enjoyed not having to set up a multi day program as days do tend to differ and this self learning thermostat has really been great. With all that said the feature I have found to be the best part of it all is the smart phone app. Having the ability to set the temperature to start warming the house up when coming home at different times is awesome. Really enjoy this product and the ease of installation to using it!

We love our new Nest learning thermostat. We were able to install it in about 15 minutes. No problems at all. The box even included the screwdriver. Info on the website was extremely helpful. I set it up to work with our Echo and it works perfectly. It is attractive and informative. I wish I had bought this a long time ago. PS We were able to participate in a rebate program through our gas company so the price was moderate.

Great thermostat! Smart and learns your routine and make the necessary adjustments. After first couple of weeks, you never have to worry about setting up the temp. on the thermostat again. It just does its thing. Nest also sends you energy reports monthly so you know the performance of the thermostat. Overall, I think the product pays for itself within the first year.

A great device to have!

Our house never seemed to be the right temperature, even with a mini-split ductless augmenting our central heat system. The Nest thermostat has made an enormous difference! The temperature seems to be much better controlled and consistent (even though it doesn't control the ductless). It seems to adjust for changes much more quickly than our old thermostat did. I like the ability to grab my tablet from bed to boost the temperature a degree or two if I'm cold at night, too, rather than having to get up and traipse down the hall to do that. I also love the fact that it lights up when I approach so I can see at night without turning lights on if I do happen to get up and want to change the temperature. The fact that it creates a schedule from your use rather than having to sit down and "program" it is also amazing. I'm a believer!
