I loveit. I can control the temperature from anywhere. But what if the nest server goes down? Could the pipes freeze if I cant contact my vacation home to turn on the heat? It even tells me the current temperature in my house. I can program my schedule right from my phone. I think the set up instructions could be a lot better regarding wiring it up, give examples when connecting to different zone

Not need to move Thermostat

I had plans to move and found it difficult to re-route wiring. Once I got it set up I found I could get sensors that make it not necessary to move it. Would've liked to be more aware of this feature.

Purchased my Nest thermostat and let it sit in the box a few months thinking about installing it and finally made the plunge. Installed myself in about 30 to 40 minutes. No problems! Directions were very clear and easy to follow. I honestly was not expecting it to be easy but it was. It's starting to learn our requirements and so far has kept us at the right temperature with no issues.

I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade or buy a new thermostat. It's a whole new experience different from the programmable thermostats. I love the app that you can control the thermostat from your phone.

This is a great upgrade to my home. We have 2, up and down stairs and they work and look great. The setup was impressively easy, less than 5 minutes to install and set it up.

I had very high expectations for a Nest product but the ease of installation was beyond what I expected. Connecting to the app was a breeze as well. While I love all the features, really I got this thermostat so I can turn the heat up and down without leaving my couch - and its working like a dream! Love this thermostat!

It can work on any system, even if you have to watch a YouTube video on adding 24 volt power supply. It can be installed by anyone who can read and use a screwdriver.
