So I purchased a Nest for my second home, being I am only there a couple of times a year. We were experiencing extremely high electric bills and I found this unappectable. So I bit the bullet, purchased Nest and now I am in the testing process. So far, so good.
The look of it fits seamlessly into my decor. I like how it "greets" you when I enter the hallway and set up on the app was simple.

The Ease of Nest

The sleek look of the Nest fits perfectly in our home. I really like the way it pops the temperature in the house whenever you walk by it! The greatest part if being able to use the app to make changes if you desire. The monthly report card helps to see where you benefit the most usage wise.

The product is amazing and learns exactly how you want your temperature. It learned how I like my house when I'm home and away within days of having it.

Intelligent Home Thermostat

A smart thermostat started off as a novel idea. Then, on realizing my existing home heating and cooling was approaching their end of life, installing a Neat was a great way of prolonging the equipment I had and making more efficient use of it and my replaced furnace. The thermostat was easy to install, setup, and looks good.

Ease of Use and Compatability

The NEST Thermostat has delivered as advertised. It is easy to use either manually or through the NEST app. The Pathlight feature on NEST products are great, because it is no longer necessary for me to leave a light on during the night. If a family member has to get up during the night, our NEST products (multiple) light up the way. It also tells me when a NEST Protect senses something.

Its Good

I purchased the Nest even though the price point was a little high for my budget. I had just moved into a new condo and at first my electric were fine- then Winter hit. My electric bill for ONE month was more than my car payment by over $100. Not acceptable. I purchased the Nest to keep track of my usage and to make sure the AC was not running at optimum levels while I was at work.
