Excellent thermostat

As a retired HVAC technician I have installed and worked on basic Honeywell mercury yo-yo thermostats, mechanical clock thermostats, and programmable thermostats. The Nest is the best design I have ever seen.

Easy to install! Comes with it own screwdriver! Love that you can turn heater/ac down while not home! Just wish there was a way to lock the dial!My husband keeps turning it up on me!

More enjoyable to use than my last T-stat

Ive always heard good things about the nest.. Finally got one and I must say its great! Its fairly simple to use. No major problems with it so far.. Wish it had a dual week programming schedule. I work every other weekend and have to reprogram for the weekend I work so it can adjust for no one being home.. When the next weekend comes around Im home all weekend so I must reset the schedule since ill be at home..

I received my first Nest a year ago for Christmas and loved it. I found it easy to install and operate. It has a sleek\modern attractive design. I got s second one for my second home. It was also easy to install. I enjoy the remote operation through the app on my iPhone. When at one house, I can monitor the other and make adjustments as needed. I also enjoy the “Eco” setting so when I am away from the house it will not get too hot/cold. When I am away from the house it senses that, and makes adjustments. Love it.
