My nest

I recently bought a house and the previous owner left the nest thermostat which I was excited about But never left the instructions I was intimidated but after going online and playing with it found out it was really easy to reset use even hook to my Alexa most of the time I don't touch it it has learned what we want ...amazing product

Very eco

I really like that I can monitor my energy use daily, weekly, and monthly. Makes me more aware of how to set my thermostat. I always try to get an eco leaf every day. Then when I get my monthly report from nest I can compare my usage to my neighborhood’s usage

Hassle free climate control

I'd heard good things about the Nest thermostat but kept putting it off until I could find a good deal. Having owned it for a few months I think I should have picked it up years ago!
The learning feature picked up on our habits after a week or so. Climate control has become something we simply don't think or talk much about anymore. It pretty much works automatically, keeping us comfortable.
The Nest app is easy to use, and I love the ability to warm the house up remotely when we're on our way home.

I have used my Nest for about 2 months now, and have seen a dramatic improvement in my electrical efficiency.
I have created a Off grid home that is smart using solar panels and 2 wind turbines.
So needless to say a high tech home that is off grid needs everything monitored.
The Nest thermostat is the only option so far for asterisk, ease of use, and efficiency.

Finally I have one

My son has one and I have always wanted to get one but just wasn't sure If I could set it up myself. I went to the online Nest site. Watched the video and seen how easy it was to assemble and install.
I checked to make sure my wiring was compatible.
I didn't buy one right away, I just asked around if anyone of my friends had one or knew anyone. A couple of friends had one and loved it and the others wish they had one.

It was Christmas and thought this would make me a great present to myself. As soon as I received it
I couldn't wait to put it up. Piece of cake to install and set up. Now my daughter is admiring it. Maybe for her birthday or next Christmas.

The installation was super easy. Setup too. I just got it so I don't know how much I'm saving or how long this will last, but based on my Nest Cam I'm pretty optimistic.
