Solid engineering

Well built and engineered. The hardware is solid and the software works well too, no crashes, always works. I love how it's managing the AC in our Florida sub-tropical heat. Remote control is great.

I just got my nest a few days ago. So far I like it. It lights up want you got near it, making it easy to see what the temp is. It's looks very modern and stylish. The app it easy to use.

Nest thermostat

The packaging was beautiful which made me feel that the product was extremely well engineered even before I installed it. Installation was very easy even for a no nothing about electrical person. I did not need the wall plate I had ordered from another supplier as the Nest package had exactly what I needed.

I like the smart feature of being able to view and control the thermostat remotely. However, the responsiveness to temperature change could be better and the learning feature results in the AC being turned on or off at unexpected times. I turned off that feature.

Excellent product to replace older units

After purchasing my home, the thermostat died. My units are roughly 11 years old, I connected the Nest thermostat to my upstairs unit. I installed it myself, it only took roughly 20 minutes inluding configuration. The app is very user friendly with easy navigation a setup. Overall this unit shaves $50 dollars off of my powerbill monthly.

Just got my best and have wanted it for a min now super happy with the easiness to install the nest thermostat and to set it up in my home and even to pair it with my alexa device. A+++.
