This item was a great addition. The ease of installation, the clean modern look, the simple setup along with an app thats user friendly make this item a must for a home owner. Its eco savings are worth the upgrade from the old and dated thermostat most people use. There’s also an opportunity to obtain greater savings through your local utility or insurance company. My only suggestion is shop aggressively to find the right deal!

Home automation made easy

Bought 2 Nest thermostats during our recent remodel. Love how it tracks when we leave and adjusts the temp for us. When we come home it adjusts again. Very convenient and useful.

FIrst 24 hours have been great

I've had it for less than 24 hours. It was super easy to install. I did it in about 30 minutes all by myself and was all cleaned up and put away before hubby got home from work. Set up app and am controlling temp while the new thermostat learns. So far I am very happy.

Nest Learning Thermostat

I bought two Nest Learning Thermostats(NLT) 2 yrs ago. We own a 2 story home with one AC up and one down. they had twenty year old thermostats and to adjust them you had to go look at them and just turn it and wait to see if that was right temp for us. The readings on them meant nothing. So I upgraded just for that reason. Realtime Temp displays. But unbeknownst to me the 2 NLTs had other plans. As a result of their accuracy, we weren't always over adjusting the thermostats and they saved us enough in cooling costs (we live in New Orleans, LA) in the first year to pay for themselves. I expected this but thought it would take 2 yrs. I recommend the NLTs to anyone who cares to ask.
