Works great. One of the few smart technologies that I do not regret purchasing. After using it for a few weeks I honestly don't know why I didn't purchase one sooner.

Great investment

We purchased the nest last year when our old thermostat stopped working. Fairly easy to install (we had some issues mounting it). Saving a little on our electric bill. Still working on fine tuning it (we are in AZ an summer needs adjusting). I am a Realtor and just sold a home to a buyer with a different "smart" thermostat and it was very complicated . Highly recommend this product!

It is a wonderful thermostat, but my only problem was the way they label the spot for the wires on the back plate. Wires werewereabeled different from the existing thermostat, and have the heat pump A/C unit, made my life a bit tough on installation. But besides that, I'm very very happy with the product.

Nest works great and as expected. Controls are intuitive and easy to learn. It does exactly what we should expect of a smart thermostat. Two stars off for two flaws-not compatible with apple homekit. Yes google owns nest but you have nothing to lose by adding this. Second flaw-you can't download or archive usage/ outside temp data. it's a smart thermostat, make it smarter with this functionality

Just Perfect

I purchased my first home recently. Had the original thermostat from 22 years ago. Ripped it out and put this in and could not be happier.
Install and setup was under 15 minutes. The app stepped me through the whole process and made it a simple task.
I did use a 3rd party mounting plate as I wanted a matching circle look.
I would recommend this to a friend!
