Great upgrade to old thermostat

We purchased the best thermostat as an upgrade to our old Honeywell product. It has not disappointed. It was super easy to install, program and begin using. We use it manually, from the app and with Google assistant. Works flawlessly so far after about 3 months of use. The report on where you've saved energy is helpful. Great copper finish and works with other smart home products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Short of the hype

Because of the mA draw I have had to disable most of the features that make the nest unique. Very poor integration with my Bryant furnace. Not worth the money or frustration with the current power demand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi MehinElburn, we're sorry to hear that you're not able to maximize all of the features of the Nest Learning Thermostat. This is not the experience we want you to have. In most cases, Google Nest Thermostats can charge their built-in battery using the your heating and cooling wires. But if it is drawing more power than your system can provide, then you may need to connect a common or C wire to consistently deliver power to the Thermostat.
It will help deliver constant power and stabilizing the flow of current into the Thermostat. Unlike the other wires connected to it, a common wire doesn't control any heating or cooling functions. So you can enjoy the features of the Nest Learning Thermostat without drawing power from your system.

Nest Thermostate

Love the product. My wifi initially hated it because she doesn't like me buying tech. However she uses it all the time to set the thermostat when she is on the way home, setting it to heat when getting out of the shower, or just turning it off without having to get out of bed.

Exceptional Product!

Been eyeing this for a couple of years but my current thermo was working fine. Finally pulled the trigger and immediately saw the benefits and cost savings. Ended up buying a second one for upstairs two weeks later. Worth every penny!

It looks and works better from our previous versions. It looks beautiful in your home when the display is on and shows you the details of what is going on. They should offer a new version with a larger display and maybe even include a speaker in it! Wish it simply had a timer setting only, to be perfect.
