I bought and installed my first 2 Nest thermostats, several years ago, in my main home. When we bought a second home, the first thing I did was take out the thermostat and install the Nest. We travel a lot and it's nice to control your thermostat when you're not home. It's also great to turn it on when you're on the way home so your house is at a comfortable temp when your arrive.

Simple, Modern, and Efficient

I wish we had upgraded our thermostats sooner! My wife and I have both been truly amazed at the performance of our Nest thermostats and their learning capabilities. Within 25-30 days of install, we rarely find ourselves even approaching the thermostats to adjust the temperatures. The climate is always perfectly set based on our preferences, and our utility bills are benefiting, too!

Easy install, easy to use

I wish that I had purchased this sooner. It took about 20 minutes to install, half of that was just me going very slowly, and the full setup was done in less than 45 minutes. It just works and the app is simple but responsive. The eco mode and being able to start the A/C while we're driving home from work were the big draws for us and they work flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Nest Thermostat when used properly saves us $$$$ . One temperature when home and another temperature when not. It's all automated. Extremely beneficial in ABB using fuel oil.

Better than I thought

Had some difficulty with the installation (the colors on my wiring were different than the examples in the nest site) but experimented and got it running. Really like the readouts on energy used and the weather/humidity.

I have to say that I was first hesitant to spend the money these things cost but after purchasing one I can’t wait to retrofit the rest of the house with it ease-of-use and installation was very easy for me
