Awesome product for our vacation/ weekend home. Installed and running within about 10 minutes. I highly recommend going through the compatibility process and once completed the install should go smoothly. App is easy to use and being able to control and monitor the HVAC from anywhere should save us in energy costs moving forward!

Way too complicated

Nest is way too complicated. There’s no need for an app and passwords. Its just a data grab. Its all unnecessarily complicated. I want the AC to come on when it gets too hot and the heat to come on when it gets too cold. I just want the old Honeywell standard click dial. This thing sucks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great design, easy to learn

My HVAC contractor recommended this thermostat when I had a new heating/cooling system installed in my home. This product is easy to use, has a beautiful sleek design and allows my to regulate home temp when I am away from home. I would never go back to an older style thermostat.

We replaced our previous thermostat with a Nest when we added central air to our house. Setup was easy and after taking some time to learn the interface we were ready to go! Being able to set a schedule and control the house temperature remotely is fantastic. We love our Nest.

Such an amazing peice of technology! It’s use is so easy and installation a breeze. Once out of the package and installed it’s perfect and all you do is use the app! Beyond extatic that I made this purchase!

Works exactly as it should

Works exactly as it should. You can control it from anywhere and use commands through google home/assistant. My main gripe with it is the lack of ITTT support. It really could use it
