We have had our learning thermostat for 2 years, and I cant imagine going back to the old kind. Super easy to install, love the app that let's you change temp from anywhere (wake up and you're too hot? Change the temp from bed!) and set it to "away when you'll be gone. The monthly email about usage is really interesting. I recommend it to everyone.

We love our Nest!

I read many reviews, web searches, feedback hunts and most everything else I could do to justify buying my Nest GEN3. As for me, the icing on the cake is how it integrates with my security system. Also, aesthetically, IMO the unit is very slick looking. I took the liberty to relocate my thermostat to another part of our home... from a hallway to our Kitchen Den area. Worth the effort!

I like that it was simple to install, has an easy to read display with several intensity settings, and can be adjusted remotely. While my utility bills aren't that high, I can further reduce them through remote changes but to be honest, once the Nest quickly learns your habits, it does the work for you.

I upgraded my old school thermostat to the Nest. My father installed it in less than 20 minutes. This is a great tool to adjust your temperature of your home from anywhere using the app on my phone and conserving energy.

I'm on The Second Floor in Control

Forgetting to turn the thermostat down before walking upstairs use to be an "Oh NO!" moment. Now I just open the app and adjust to the desired "savings" temperature. The same goes for when leaving my home, but wait the Nest knows I left my home and auto sets to a "savings" temperature. Haven't had long enough, but it even learns your schedule and controls temperature for savings!
